Welcome from the pastor
Welcome to Holy Trinity in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I invite you to explore this website to learn more about who we are as a church family and as followers of Jesus.
Of course a great way to find out who we are is to join us on Sunday mornings at either the 8 am or the 10:30am service. If you have any questions about anything on our website or at our church, or if we can encourage you on your walk with the Lord, please feel free to send us an email or call (the number is below).
The mission of Holy Trinity is simple: To bring Jesus to a hurting world and to be a place where we can all grow and mature in the knowledge and love of God.
A note about our worship services. At Holy Trinity the Bible is understood to be the Word of God and the Holy Scriptures are the center of our worship. However, we worship liturgically, which means in a special order that is very old and “Anglican”. That order of worship and many of our creedal statements are found in the Book of Common Prayer. At Holy Trinity you will hear contemporary music as well as traditional hymns. We have a nursery running during the 10:30 service and a special Children's Chapel during the sermon at the same service.
If you bring your children into the service and they get a little squirmy and make some noise...know that we are okay with that. We understand what you are going through. A wise old pastor once told me that "if the voice of the child is not heard in the church, then the voice of the church will not be heard in the child." I can preach over any crying baby or restless kid...I promise.
We are grateful you've stopped by. We hope to see you on Sunday morning.
Your servant in Christ,
The Reverend David M. Dubay,

Safeguarding God's Children workshop planned
Saturday, Oct. 25th from 8:45 a–12:30 p.m
Holy Trinity Church will host this Diocesan workshop Saturday, Oct. 25th from 8:45 a–12:30 p.m. Please call 556-2560 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to register. The cost is $5 per person.
There is no question what a precious treasure our children are. We have a moral, spiritual and canonical obligation to exercise due diligence in assuring that their faith formation happens in a safe environment. There are steps we can and must take to assure the joy of their Christian Faith is not stolen from those in our care.
It is with that purpose in mind that the Diocese offers the "Safeguarding God's Children" workshops, led by Mrs. Polly Sosnowski, across the Diocese. Mrs. Sosnowski's years of service as a licensed clinical social worker in South Carolina make her a marvelous resource for this training. The training provided will cover the necessary material to fulfill both diocesan canons and local parish guidelines.
Anyone in our parish who works regularly with children or youth must have this training.
