What is ministry?The dictionary defines ministry as the act of givng aid or service. In a Christian sense it is also telling others about God, lovingly serving others as Christ serves us.. Why do ministry?As followers of Jesus we are commanded to love and care for those around us. We are expected to be servants, placing others' needs before our own. Ministry Councils
How is ministry accomplished at Holy Trinity?
Ministry at Holy Trinity is guided by five councils. Each council oversees related ministries. Every council and ministry, tries to fulfill the vision of the church. This is done by setting goals that are in accord with our mission statement.
The guiding councils are: (Click on navigation above to visit each council and its ministries)
- Worship
- Discipleship
- Compassion/Restoration
- Expansion
- Administration
The leader of each ministry under the council serves on the council and each council has a Vestry member as liaison. The liaison takes council recommendations to the Vestry for their information or approval.
